50(+1) Jahre GLS Ottawa

Liebe Freunde der GLS Ottawa,

die Schule geht bald wieder los, auch wenn es am Anfang noch ein paar Monate online sein wird, und wir hoffen, dass wir alle ab 2022 wieder zusammenkommen können. Durch die Pandemie konnten wir ja dieses Jahr leider nicht unser grosses 50jähriges Jubiläum feiern, so machen wir es eben 2022 als ein 50+1 Fest!

Auf jeden Fall soll es etwas Besonderes werden, und wir sollten langsam mit der Planung anfangen, denn die es braucht einige Vorlaufzeit um zum Beispiel die Botschaften mit einzubeziehen. Aus diesem Grund brauchen wir ein paar Freiwillige für das Planungsteam des Festes. Wir sollten uns bald zum ersten Mal treffen und anfangen das Fest vorzubereiten.

Also, alle die in irgendeiner Weise helfen wollen, bitte eine Email an uns so bald wie möglich schicken (info@glsottawa.ca), damit es zeitnah losgehen kann!

Dear Friends of GLS Ottawa,

School will be starting again soon, although it will be online for a few months at the beginning, and we hope to be able to reunite everyone starting in 2022. Due to the pandemic we could not celebrate our big 50th anniversary this year, so we will do it in 2022 as a 50+1 celebration!

In any case, it should be something special, and we should slowly start with the planning, because it needs some lead time to include, for example, the embassies. For this reason we need a few volunteers for the planning team of the event. We should have our first meeting soon and start preparing the Fest.

So, anyone who wants to help in any way, please email us as soon as possible (info@glsottawa.ca) so we can get started soon!
